The functional items dealing with space and location can be easily applied to descriptions of Canada, China and other places, and should be integrated as much as possible into speaking.

This class offers students an opportunity to compare China with Canada through listening, and then students are asks further questions about their similarities and differences.

The speaking task requires students to master practical application of the vocabulary of distance, direction and location, and also requires students to make a speech on important and/or interesting sites in the local area.Teaching AimsLanguage capacity
