2. The analysis of students’ learning status
Senior three students often find it difficult and confusing to make summaries of proofreading and blank-filling in examinations.The reason for it is that they are unable to make connections and unaware of making self-reflections after finishing the exercises.So it is hard for them to get enough points in these parts of an examination.

4.1 Lead-in
4.1.1 Present the teaching goals
4.1.2 Introduce the importance of making summaries by comparing the difference of two different types of rooms --- messy and neat.
4.1.3 Apply the same theory to learning English and stress the necessity of making summaries while doing proofreading and blank filling questions. Then raise the question -- How can we make our thoughts organized?
4.2 Presentation 1
4.2.1 Find out the similarities of the following two proofreading questions.

How nice to see you again! Dad and I were terrible worried.(2015 NMET 2)(terrible --> terribly)
4.2.2 Find the similarities of the two questions and try to apply the practice to blank filling questions, using the following pattern.

4.2.3 Solve the following blank filling questions concerning adverbs.

4.2.4 Use the finished exercise papers to make some summaries about adverbs. And sort out the following blank filling questions.
