Step 2. Learning aims
At first, explain the learning aims. Then let students know about them.
Step 3. Review words and free talk
Go over and master the important words by pictures.
Let the students make conversations by looking at the pictures.
Step4. Presentation
Show the picture of 3a and ask
T: What is Kate doing in the picture? Where is she?How’s the weather?
2. Ask Ss fill the blanks with the words in the box. (Section B 3a)Then please

Read 3a and answer the questions
Discuss in groups “What kind of information is mentioned in the postcard?”
(Weather, clothes, people, special food, activities, feelings)
5.To conclude the form of postcard.(Write them on the Blackboard)
Step5. Writing
1. At first, explain the composition guidance. Then show a passage to the students.
2. T: Imagine you are on vacation. Write a postcard to your friend and tell him your vacation.
Show some pictures and sentences to help the Ss to write a postcard (3b , 3c).
3.Ask 2~3 Ss to read his/her postcard.

Show the questions and let them finish, then check the answers.
