管理课后:(1)在本单元上完之前让学生学会本节课播放的介词歌曲;(2)用bingo 游戏听写本节课新单词;(3)督促学生模仿、背诵听力材料;(4)批阅学生编写的对话及新城文章。(5)督促学生完成风向标第一课时作业并评讲。
Teaching Steps:
Warming-up.预备铃播放方位介词歌曲,让学生通过视频整体直观感知方位, 了解介词,并带着轻松愉快的心情投入本节课的学习
Step1(10minutes)创设情景,教学新单词。我把本节课的十个新单词编入故事,以叙述故事的形式 一边展示同学们熟悉的、我们本地的地点图片,一边讲故事,引出新单词教学,同时练习学生听力。故事是这样的:
Look at the picture.There is a blockhouse and some Tibetan houses in the picture.It’s beautiful,isn't it?
when the Greens see the picture,they decide to visit our city Danba. Now,they are on Walking Street.They live in Xindan hotel and eat in Yi Pinhong restaurant They want to go to the park to visit the whole city first.Before going,they want to buy something to drink in the supermarket When they get to the supermarket they find they have no money.So they need to get some money from the bank.When they pass the post office,they see a traffic accident.Mr Green takes his mobile phone to call 110.but his mobile phone can't work.He has to use the pay phone。 Soon the police come and send the injured person to the hospital
and take the other person to the police station
叙述完故事,老师特意告诉学生:The Greens do a good job.but they can’t find some places they want to visit.Would you like to help them?If you do ,you must learn this unit well.老师潜移默化地引导学生、要作一个服务社会的人、得先学好知识。
接下来重现故事中的新单词进行教读
学生熟悉了地点单词便进入游戏stand up and say环节,考验学生的快速反应能力,检查学生单词掌握情况,全班都动起来,使课堂气氛分外活跃。
做完游戏回归课本1a。进行单词和地点的匹配.匹配之后用句型:Look at Picture f, there is a post office on Long Street来核对答案,让学生熟练运用新单词, 同时过渡到there be 句型的学习。
进入1b听力环节。
听力环节我设计成四步:
(1)听后圈;
(2)跟读;主要模仿语音语调
(3)齐读;
(4)解释疑难点There’s one on Long Street中的one
Step2.(5minutes)教学用there be 句型问路。把教室当成我们的县城,老师命名教室的一条过道为步行街,对应学生站起来展示我们城市步行街上1a的地点图片。老师在创设的情景中自然引入1c句型:
- Is there a … near here?
- Yes, there is.No, there isn’t.
老师说:Our classroom is Danba Street now.This aisle is Walking Street.Please show the places on Walking Street in our city.学生展示好图片之后,老师站到任一位置问:
T: Is there a bank/park…near here?引导学生回答 S: Yes, there is. No, there isn’t.
老师再任意变换自己的位置反复操练其它地点让学生对答如流,熟练运用there be 句型。
拿着图片的学生依旧站着。老师另外抽两个学生像这张图片展示的一样进行Pairwork操练。
Step3 (15minutes)教学用Where问路及六个方位词指路。老师又命名教室另一条过道为丹巴团结街,对应学生站起来展示我们团结街上1a的地点图片。老师由刚操练过的there be 句型自然引入where 句型及on ;between ...and...;in front of;behind;next to;across from六个方位词。
老师说:This aisle is Tuanjie Street.Please show the places on Tuanjie Street .学生快速展示好之后,老师亲切地问:
T: Excuse me, is there a bank near here?
S: Yes, there is.
T: Where is it?
学生会说:It's on Tuanjie Street
