step 1 Revision ：
根据图片描述建筑物的位置。要应用Where is the …? Is there a …near here? It’s across from /next to… 句型。
（设计意图：复习基本的问路句型以及描述建筑物的位置，同时也为了在本节课中灵活运用）
Step 2 lead in
Point to the map ,and say“Suppose you are this boy ,if someone asks you the way to one of these places ,can you give the correct direction? And this is what we will learn this class.”
Step 3 New lesson
1.教师利用多媒体课件展示交通标志图片以及地图，引导学生学习词汇turn
left，turn right，go along，on the left，on the right，crossing。
2. 完成1a任务。Match the words in the box with the signs.
3.根据图示学习指路的句型。
Go along Bridge Street and turn left at the first crossing
Go along Center Street and turn right on Center Street.
Turn left at the second crossing/when you see the park
There is a library on the left/right. It’s next to…
4.出示1b图片，让学生运用新学的句型练习描述去A,B两地的路线。
（设计意图：此图是听力部分的图片，要求听出A.B两地是什么建筑物，如果学生不熟悉指路的句型就很难完成听力任务，所以这个活动既能让学生练习新句型也能为听力扫清障碍）
