Fundamental State

After the past four periods of learning, students have language foundation in daily routines after much speaking, listening and reading practice, constructing language structure, preparing for this composition. This lesson aims to review topics in this unit by writing at the same time.

Knowledge Reserve知识储备

In the fifth period of this unit, the topic is about talking about routines,aiming to improve students’ writing skills by wring a composition. To learn to use “in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, then, after that and other concrete time to describe daily routines, enriching language output and discussing living habits in daily life.

Class data本班实际

Students in this class are active, outgoing and have superior language ability. In class, students are willing to talk ,discuss, cooperate .They did a good job. After learning students have language ability to talk about daily routines.

1) Greet students

Good morning!/What’s the date today ?/What day is it today ?/What’s the weather like today ?

2)Lead-in

I think we should have a healthy lifestyle, because health is the most important in our life.

Duty report

(Design aims: This report aims to develop students’ listening, speaking skills. Students can review what they’ve learnt)

4)Pair-work (practicing how to as and answer about time)

Listen to the tips of the clock and guess what is it ? Teacher take about clock behind the back and ask “what time is it ?”

Guessing game: teacher move the clock and students guess the concrete time using the sentence “Is it …?”until say out the correct time.

Pair-wok

Students take out their own clocks and move them to let their partner s to practice the concrete time.)

(Design aims: This game can attract students’ curiosity ant active lesson. students can review how to ask and answer time, it can also develop students’ practical abilities at the same time.)
