Step 1 Greeting

2.Enjoy an English song《What time is it ,Tony?》

Step 2 Revision

1.Show some pictures about some daily activities. Guide students to review the sentence structures: what time do you ......? At the same time ,guide the students to review the expressions of the time。

2.Ask students to try to fill in the blanks to complete the composition about the teacher’s daily life. Then read the composition together.

Step 3 Pre-writing

1.3a: Number these activities in order to make a story about a daily routine.

Ask some students to read this story to check the answer.

Ask students to find out the ways about how to number the sentences .

According to the story in 3a, explain the basic framework of writing a daily routine..Help the students summarize the points of writing a daily routine

.Sum up writing strategies:

(1)Have a topic sentence. (2)Write the activities in time line. (3)Use "then, after that, and,..."

Step 4 While-writing

1. Help students to build the framework of writing a daily routine.

Students write their own daily routine

Let one student write on the blackboard.

Guide the students to pay attention to the tips for writing.

TIP1:Frame and contents   TIP2:Good language

TIP3:Correct grammar  TIP4: Good handwriting

Step 5 After-writing   

1.Ask one student to come to the front to check (Modify) the student’ composition on the blackboard with the symbols. (PPT显示修改符号;评价标准以及总评的标准)

2.Ask students to exchange their compositions with their partners. And modify and evaluate each other. Ask the students to pay attention to the tips.

3.Let students to rewrite their own composition according to the partner’s advice.Then put them on the wall in the classroom to share with others.
