Step 1. Greetings and free talk
T: Look at the pictures on the screen, There are two people, and one is from the ancient time, while the other is from the present time. Both of them want to go to school. How do they get there? What are their transportions?
Ss:……
T: Apparently, the ancient boy will walk, and walk tiredly to get there. Now, I will ask you how about the present boy?
Ss: walk , take the bus , ride a bike……

Step2. Pre-Task
1. Learn the new words and phrases, let the students look at the pictures on the screen, and then answer the following questions: How does he/she get to school? How do you get to school? Then write down the sentence” How do you get to school?” on the blackboard. Help the students to answer “take the subway, take the train, ride a bike, on foot .”
