Step1. Greeting and warming-up

1. Greet the students as usual and do oral speech.

2. Brainstorm: Encourage the students to try to make sentences with the given words or phrases. And then recite some proverbs.

Step2. Presentation

Before writing:

Activity1: How can we write a composition? What are the skills of writing a good composition?

Tell the students the ways and skills of writing with the class together.

Activity2: Show the content about this composition and guide the class to think how to write a composition.

Step3.Practice

While writing:

Activity1: Make out the outline in small groups.

Activity2: Encourage the students to try their best to write the composition. (Maybe some words, some phrases, even some sentences.)

After writing:

Activity1: Share some students’ compositions and correct the mistakes. Point out the advantages and disadvantages.

Activity2: Show a good composition as a model.

Step4.Summary

Give a short summary about what a good composition is.

Step5. Homework

Rewrite the composition with the third person and hand in it after class.

通过这节课的学习,我发现学生对写作有了一定的认识,明确了写作任务,懂得了如何在短时间内完成一篇小短文且也能写出一篇高质量的小短文,同时消除了学生怕写作的顾虑,达到了预期的效果。大部分学生积极、主动,有较强的求知欲,也有团队合作意识。但也有部分学生由于胆怯不敢主动地大声地说出来,今后还有待于多加关注及鼓励这部分学生。
