Say it quickly: show more and more times and let students stand up and say it quickly.
Activity three- Game2
Ask the students to act out the time by using body language.
IV. Activity-Four presentation
Show the new phrases and ask and answer by using the new sentence structures: What time do you get up?
I get up at 6:00. What time do you brush your teeth? I brush my teeth at 6:10. And so on.
V. Activity five- Work on 1a
After learning the new phrases, the teacher asks students to finish 1a, and then check the answer together.
VI. Activity six-Group work
There are six clocks and let six groups choose one of the clocks to finish the task in limited time. One student acts out the pictures without words. The other student tries to guess the phrase and say it out quickly.
VII. Activity seven-pair-work
Let students to ask and answer in pairs to practice the new sentence structures and new phrases.
VIII. Activity eight-Listening1b.
Introduce a new friend, Rick. Let students to guess the daily routines of Rick and then listen to the tape to finish 1b. After that check the answers together.
