Step 1. Warming-up and lead-in.
1. Greet the Ss.
2. Do a guessing game and lead in the lesson.
Step 2. Presentation
1. Show pictures about different ways to express time.
(1). 点钟数 + 分钟数
(2). 分钟数 + past +点钟数 (分钟数不超过30分)
(3). 差分钟数 + to +下一点钟数 (分钟数超过30分)
2. Do a quiz.
Ss are divided into groups, and each group has only one minute to read the time cards. The team which reads the most will be the winner.
Present pictures about daily activities such as “go to school,get up, take a shower,eat breakfast” and so on.
Match the activities in 1a, and check the answers.
Pair work
(1) Two students in a pair to ask and answer about the PPT.
(2) Students write their own time schedules, and speak out to the class.
Step 3. Listening
Listen and match the times with the actions in 1b.
Listen twice, and check the answers(Students had better write the time beside the activities in 1a).
