2. 能力目标:
通过对日常活动作息时间表达的学习,学生能够训练他们的英语听说能力,并在小组和结对活动中将听说的表达训练达到熟练程度,此外学生能在任务型教学(report)中学会对自己和同伴作息时间的表述,为阅读和写作教学做铺垫。
3.情感态度价值观目标:
本节课的学习内容仍是对日常活动的作息时间的询问和表达,学生通过互相询问和谈论自己或对方的作息时间安排和活动计划,可以培养学生良好的作息习惯和守时习惯,从而达到珍惜时间不浪费时间的教育目的。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 学生们掌握另外两种表达时间的方式past/ to。
2) 掌握运用本节课所学习的一些日常活动的表达方式。
3) 通过听、说、读,写的训练来提高学生们综合运用英语的能力。

1)能听懂学习到的日常活动的时间安排,获取准确的听力信息。
2)通过任务型教学活动(report),综合学习运用本单元所学习的句型句式,提高学生们的综合英语水平。

五、教学过程:
Step 1.Warming- up& revision and new words learning
1. Greet the students warmly as usual.
2. Show pictures of clocks and activities to revise the normal way to express time and practice asking and answering questions about daily activities.
3. New words and phrases learning
Show pictures of activities with new words and phrases such as run, do homework, take a walk, etc. Teach them to read and then practice asking and answering questions by using the target language “What time/ When does he/ she usually …? ”.
Step 2.Presentation —new ways to express time
1. Show pictures of clocks. In this part, I’ll show students other ways to express time with the prepositions “past” or “to”, while at the same time, I’ll let them understand the use of “half ” and “ quarter”.
Rules to express time as follow:
①分钟数小于30: 分钟数+past+小时 e.g. 7:10 ten past seven
②分钟数等于30:half +past+小时 e.g. 9:30 half past nine
③分钟数大于30:(60-分钟数)+to+下一小时e.g. 2:50 ten to three
④分钟数为15(一刻钟): a quarter past/ to…e.g. 7:15 a quarter past seven
Show examples of different times to students and ask them to practice reading aloud. In this way, make sure they can be familiar with the use of expressing time in different ways.
