Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
1. Greet the Ss as usual.
2. Review the sentence and phrases:
What time do you…..? -----I usually…..at….
(get up, get dressed, go to school, brush teeth, eat breakfast…..)
3. Conclude the first way to express time:
顺读法:先读时,再读分
Ⅱ. Presentation
1.Show some pictures to learn the new words and phrases in this period
2. Show one sentence in different ways and ask students pay more attention to past and to.
3. Lead and encourage students to conclude the second way to express time and use of “past” and “to”:
倒读法 分+past / to +时
⑴分钟数不超过30分钟,中间用“past”连接,意为“过”
⑵分钟数超过30分钟,中间用“to”连接,意为“差---分到点”
15分钟,表示为 a quarter 30分钟,表示为 half
注意:整点钟的表示方法只有一种,即钟点数 + o’clock
