Step 1 revision ( free talk )

运用section A 所学知识复习和学习表示活动的动词短语和时间短语，分组问答表演并适时给出表扬

Step 2 presentation

1. show some pictures about time and ask students;

What time is it？/ What’s the time ?

It’s six o’clock , six ten ten past six a quarter past six half past six

a quarter to six

2. learn 1a (some daily activities)

Do homework eat dinner eat breakfast go to bed

Step3 1b pairwork (use some information about 1a)

A: What time / when do you do homework …?

B: I do homework … at half past seven.

Step 4 Listening

First read the following activities: 1.get up 2.run 3.eat breakfast 4.go to school 5.go home 6.do my homework 7.clean my room 8.eat dinner 9.take a walk 10. go to bed

播放1c录音listen and circle the activities you hear

1d Listen again . write the time next to the activities you circled in 1c

Step 5 Groupwork (do a survey about what time other students do these activities in your group. Then make a report )

How to express clock time

顺读法：6:00 six o’clock 6:10 six ten 6:30 six thirty 6:45 six forty-five

逆读法：6:10 ten past six 6:30 half past six 6:45 a quarter to seven

Past 用于半点或半点以前 to用于半点之后
