Step 1. Warm-up: Sing and dance with the music “I like to move it”.

Step 2. Review

(1) Review different kinds of TV shows and movies by watching the pictures and listening to the sound.

(2) Challenge their memory. I show them some pictures of different kinds of TV shows or movies. Students should stand up quickly and shout out.

Step 3. Presentation

(1) Present some description words by talking about some TV shows.

(2) Lead students to talk about the TV shows or movies by using different description words.

Step 4. Practice

(1) Do exercise in 1a on Page 36.

(2) Ask the students to work in pairs by using the sentence :

---What do you think of ……? ---They’re / It’s…… .

(3) Do exercise in 1b and 1c.

(4) Invite all the students to make a survey. Students can ask any three or four students about the name, the TV shows or movies that he/she wants to watch and the reason. At last, they just stand up to give us a report.

Step 5 Consolidation

(1) Ask the students to hold a live talk show. One is the host, the other three are guests. I need to give them an example before starting. It can help them consolidate the main topic of the lesson and improve their speaking English .

(2) Teach them two sayings about time to let them value time and love life.
