Step 1 Greet the students and lead in
1. Greet the students in English.
2. 教师指着图片说:He can play the guitar.But I can’t play it.等;然后询问学生:Can you play the guitar?并引导学生进行简单的回答。
Step2: Teaching new words and phrases.
Lead out all the new words one by one. Then let the students read the words by themselves for a few minutes.
Step 3 Presentation
Ask the students to look at the pictures of Page 1 , Let’s look at the clubs. What are they? They are art club, English club, chess club, swimming club and music club. What club do you want to join? Help the students to answer I want to join the art club. Then give a picture of art club to the student.The teacher writes What club do you want to join? I want to join… on the blackboard. Ask the students to practice it in pairs.
Step 5 Practice
Show students pictures of dance, swim, play chess, paint, speak English and play the guitar and practice like this in pairs.
Can you dance? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
