四、Teaching steps (教学步骤)

1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)

1)Daily greetings to the Ss.

2 ) Show Ss some pictures of the balls.

T: I can play ping-pong .what about you ?

T: I can play…..

教学设计说明 :本课时主要学习can的用法,因此采取图片导入法,使学生更加直观的了解本课内容,过渡简单自然。

2. Presentation (呈现新知识)

1) Present the new words: sing, swim, dance, draw, play chess, speak English, play the guitar.

Show Ss the pictures and help Ss to understand the new words. Ask Ss to read the new words, and make sure that everyone can understand the meanings and read them correctly. Then use the new words to ask Ss questions.

T: Can you dance/swim/sing/draw/play chess/speak English/play the guitar?

S: Yes, I can./No I can’t.

教学设计说明 :图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一,学生通过图片,能更形象地理解新单词的含义。

3. Listen to a song 《an you sing》,增强学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。

4. Practice (练习)

1)Show the pictures as quickly as possible. Let Ss use the new words to make small conversations,then act out.

2) Show yourself .students use can or can’t to show their abilities to each other .

3) Work in pairs to make a survey, talk about the abilities with Ss using the target language. then student B report the results

T: Can you speak English? S: Yes, she can.

通过练习,使学生进一步学会运用新单词。和学生一起谈论自己的能力,目的在于引导学生学会使用can的基本句型。

5. Presentation

Show ss three sentences,and show them “I want to join the music”,then ask them if I can speak English , What club should I join..
