Step1 Revision
Ask two pairs of students to role-play the conversation in 2d.
Review the key words and phrases we learned last class.
Step2 Presentation
The teacher takes out a ping-pong ball.
T: Look! What’s it?
Ss: It’s a ping-pong ball.
T: Can you play it?
Ss: Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
T: I can play it, but I can’t play very well. What can you do?
(Ask some students to answer )
Then the teacher shows some pictures to ask and answer this question. Next, the teacher shows a picture and ask: Can you draw?
Ss: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.
Then, use more pictures the show: What can he/she/it do?
Can he/she/it ...? What club do you want to join? I want to join the ... club.
