Watch a team show并引出话题What does your new math teacher look like?

2.Play a guessing game

1.Show a picture of their new math teacher(her face can’t be seen clearly)，let students guess: What does your new maths teacher look like ?

2.Revise the words describing the people as many as possible:

has long blonde hair/ two big eyes / a small nose /a long face / a small mouth ......

is tall / of medium biuld / thin / beautiful / short......

wear glasses ......

3.Show another picture of their new math teacher and ask questions :Does she have a long face / two big eyes......？Is she thin ?Does she wear glasses ?

4. Work on 1a: Match the words with the pictures. Then check the anwers .

5.Ask the students :Who do you think is the most famous of all these picture?

Students may say: Picture E

T:Why ?

Ss:She is beautiful

T:You mean beautiful people become famous easily . But I don not agree.Let me tell you the reason.(引导学生得出结论：不要以貌取人)

1. Read the phrases in the box in 1b and make sentences about famous people with the words.
