Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Warm up
1. Greetings
2. Lead in: Play a song to students and then have a free talk. Ask students "what can you do?/ What do you like?/ what club do you want to join?/ can you…?"Invite some students to answer them.Then let students to look at the pictures on PPT, let students look and say.
Step 2. Pre-reading
1. Teach the new words
Show the new words on the screen and word cards, let students to read them one by one and explain the meanings of them.
Step 3. While-reading

Fast reading
(1) Lead students to look at the pictures to find out "who are they" in 2a, check the answers together.
(2)Get students to read three descriptions quickly and answer three questions. Give students two minutes to do this.Then check the answers one by one.
Careful reading
Let students to read again and fill in the charts according to the descriptions. Give them a few minutes to discuss with partners and find out the answers. .
2. Teach activity 2b
(1)Fast reading
Choose the proper title,give students to look at the three titles and choose the proper one for each ad according to the key words. Explain some important language points while checking the answers.
(2) Careful reading
Give students enough time to read the three ads carefully and answer the questions. Check the answers one by one, correct mistakes if any.
