三、教学过程

Step 1 Greeting and lead-in

1. Daily greeting.

2. Language Goal: Let’s talk about past events ( Sth. happened in the past).

3. Revision: How was your weekend?

What did you do last weekend?

Step 2 Presentation

T: Do you want to know about my summer vacation? Guess where I go on vacation this summer.(show some pictures)

Ss: You went to Yunnan.

S: What did I do there?

Ss: You saw some beautiful waterfalls.

Step 3 Free Talk

S: How about your vacation. What did you do in your summer vacation? (Show some pictures)

Ss1-8: I went to Beijing for vacation. I went to summer camp. I went to the mountains. I stayed at home. I went to the beach. I visited museums. I went to New York City. I visited my uncle

Step 4 Work on 1a

1. Ask some students to read the phrases. Tell Ss to match the phrases with the pictures.

2. Read the phrases together.

3. Fast memory.

Step 5 Listening.
