In this lesson, My teaching methods include audio-visual teaching method, communicative teaching method, task-based teaching methods and game teaching method.

New Lesson Standard advocates to improve students abilities of analyzing and solving problems. And teachers should change their? old-fashioned teaching ways ,give students more opportunities to join? class and let the students find the problems by themselves. After feeling and understanding the language points, let students get the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study.

IV.Teaching Procedures

Step 1 Greeting and lead-in

Greet the whole class as usual. Tell students that we’ll have a group PK in this class.

Play a video of my vacation.

T: I went to Beijing on vacation.

Where did you go on vacation?

Step 2 Presentation(new words)

Show pictures one by one and guide students to learn new phrases:

went to the beach / the mountains / New York city / summer camp /,

visit my uncle/Museums, stayed at home

2. Match the activities with the pictures [a-g] in1a.

3.Check the answers.

Step 3 Listening

T: These are five students in the picture . Let’s listen and number the people in the picture [1-5].

Then check the answers.

Step 4 Practice

1. Group work

Guide students to ask and answer in groups about their partners' vacation.
