VI. Activity styles: Pairwork&Groupwork.

VII. Teaching steps:

Step1. Warming- up and revision

Daily greetings and check the homework.

Review the reflexive pronouns and the composite indefinite pronouns.

Step2. Presentation

Show some pictures on the screen. Point to the first picture and lead Ss to say ‘’delicious”. Then do the same thing for all six pictures.

Read the six words and let Ss repeat.

Step3. 1a

Read the instructions to the class and ask Ss to match on their own.

Then ask some Ss to give out their answers and check with the whole class.

Step4. 1b

Explain the meaning of “ words” and “ words.”

Let Ss discuss the words and write them down on the line.

Finally, let some Ss read out their words to the class. (Or let some Ss write their words on the Bb.)

Step5.1c

First, let one student read the questions aloud. Make sure all the Ss know the meanings of the questions.

Play the recording for the first time. Ss only listen.

Then play the recording for the second time. Ss listen and answer the questions.

Then play the recording for the third time for the Ss to check the answers.

At last, check the answers. (Look at the big screen.)

Step6. 1d

Tell Ss this time they have to write down what Lisa said about her vacation, the people, the fun park, the food and the store.

Then play the same recording again. Ss listen and write down the words.

Then play the recording the last time for Ss to check the answers.

Step7. 1e

Tell Ss to ask and answer about Lisa’s vacation. Begin your questions with the following sentences. For example: Where did …? What did …? Did she …? etc.

Ss work in pairs and ask and answer about Lisa’s vacation.

Then let some pairs come to the front and ask and answer in pairs.
