教学过程
Step1:Lead-in
问学生What do people usually do on vacation?复习相关的假期活动并引出本堂课文中的活动paragliding,并播放滑翔伞运动视频,吸引学生的注意力,激发他们的学习热情。
Step2:Presentation
观看视频后,问学生Do you find it enjoyable? Would you like to try it? 然后老师说 I want to try it like Jane.引出本节课要学的日记。
Step3: Reading and comprehension
1. 独立完成 迅速浏览文章找出这两个问题的答案(培养略读技能)
Did Jane have a good time on Monday? What about on Tuesday?
(叫同学们找出能支持这两个问题答案的描述性形容词如interesting, exciting, bad terrible.并让学生体会这些形容词的积极性和否定性表达出作者的不同情感)
2.独立完成 迅速浏览文章回答问题(places and weather)
①Which country did Jane go to on vacation?
②Which places of the country did she go to?
③How was the weather on Monday and Tuesday?

3. 四人一组 仔细阅读第一则日记,判断正误。
①Jane and her sister found paragliding exciting.
