How to write a travel diary.

Teaching procedures

Step 1. leading in

Show two pictures on the screen and talk about their trips if someone has ever been there.

Ask them if they wrote a travel diary after the trip and told them the advantages of writing travel diaries.

Step 2. Reading

Show a travel diary on the screen for students to read and get the information.

Step 3. Correcting

1. Tell the students that there are some mistakes in the diary and it needs correcting.

2. Tell the students how to correct a composition by showing it on the screen.

3. Show some sentences with mistakes on the screen and correct them with the class.

  I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation. We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get to there. It was hot and windy . There were thousands people. When we saw a group of foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Wall's history. They thanked us a lot and we really had a good time. We feel proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

It was a pleasant trip . I will never forget it.
