Let Ss watch a video about teacher’s vacation to review the past tense. Then answer two questions .

Step 2 .Before- writing
1.Make sentences with who, what, when.
2.Show some pictures about how to talk about and write an travel diary.
3.Enjoy the teacher’s travel diary.
Step 3. Practice: Mind map
1.Diary writing exercises are given, and the analysis of students how to write the diary.
2.Combined with a mind map is analyzed
Step 4. While-writing
1.Give? 6--8 minutes?to write the diary, and tell students?diary writing's requirements and format, pay attention to writing and tense the use of punctuation
