1.Show a picture about 10 top resolutions and ask students the meaning of resolutions.

2.Watch a video about New Year’s resolutions. Ask Ss answer the questions on the handout.Listen to the teacher and learn the new words and phrases. Take an active part in listening and answering the questions.Arouse student’s interest and create plots and scenes to guide the new lesson.
