Unit 3 The topic of this unit is personal traits. By learning this unit, students will be able to talk about personal traits and compare people. So, comparatives with -er/ -ier and more will be taught in the grammar part with the sentence structures used to compare people. At the same time, the two structures used to describe similarities as... as and the same as are mentioned in this unit. Last but not least, the learning contents will be a good guidence for students when they choose friends. For they will not ‘judge a book by its cover’.
Period 2 This period includes grammar focus and three parts of exercises. This period will be mainly focused on grammar, and it is a summary of grammar points of this unit. Students will learn some description words and some more sentence structures, and use them to compare people.
