3. Emotional goals

Students learn to develop a friendly attitude to environment and protect it by enjoying the nature beauty in Guangde.

(1) Students make comparisons to learn to use the superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs.

Step1. Leading in.

Students enjoy a short movie and talk about cinema shortly.

Step2. Fee-talking

Students talk about movie theaters in Guangde, and get to know the superlative.

Step3. Looking and saying

Students look at some pictures of 3 movie theaters (Jinzita Movie Theater, Time Cinema, China Film)) , then make comparisons to answer some questions by using the superlative.

Q; Which movie theater has the biggest screens?

A: Movie World has the biggest screens.

Step4. Playing a game

Students play a game to say the superlative forms if each words on the turntable.

And then help students to find the rules of superlatives.

Step5. Listening and practicing.

1. Students circle the superlative in the chart.

2. Students listen to the tape and finish the chart in 1b.

Step6. Pair work

Students make conversations to talk about the three movie theaters in ib.

Hey, which do you think is the best movie theaters?

Oh, I think…
