Step 1 lead in:
1. Greetings.
2. Review the comparative and play a song about it. Students need to write down all the comparatives and then some students give their answers.
3. “today ,we are not going to learn comparative, we are going to learn the superlative degree. ” and then show the title , after that give three sentences of “the best”.
Step 2 1a
Show a video about the superlative things of Nanchang.
Show some pictures of good movies and ask students about how they choose a movie theater to go to and share their answers.
Give the sentence patterns: it is important to have/is ……
Ask students to finish all the sentences with the words and phrases in 1a
5. Turn the words and phrases into the superlative degree.
