Step 1 Lead-in.
Greeting & free talk.
Check the homework.
Step 2 Fill in the chart (1 a)
Read the words and phrases in 1a. Students repeat them after the
teacher. Make sure the students understand what they mean. Write them next to their opposites in the chart.
Step 3 Free talk (1b)
Work with your partner. Please tell him or her about people you know. Use the words in 1a. For example:
S a : My best friend Lu Zuyu is the most creative person I know.
Step 4 Listening (1c & 1d )
1.Listen to the tape and match the pictures with the performers. Write the letter correct picture in the chart in 1a.
2. Listen to the tape again, check the answers. Then let Ss read through the questions in 1d. Pay attention to what the people say about the performers.
3. Play the tape again. This time , if we have heard one question and make sure most of the we have a pause. Make students understand the adjectives they hear
