I. Warming up
1、Let Ss discuss a question“How many famous cities do you know in our country?”
e.g.
Chaozhou (my hometown, historical city)
Beijing (capital city, famous, popular)
Sanya (beautiful city buildings, fresh seafood)
Sanya is my favorite city,I think it is the best city in China. It has the most beautiful beaches and the cleanest water. It’s the warmest place. You can eat the most delicious sea food. You can enjoy the sunshine most quietly.
2、复习形容词或副词最高级的规则变化。
II. Read and fill
1. Read the article about Greenwood Park. Fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box.
2. 方法指导：
首先，阅读短文，整体把握短文大意。
其次，分析有空格的每个句子，看空格处应是形容词还是副词，根据句意确定单词。
最后，将单词的最高级形式填到空白处。副词前可以不加the。
