教学重点：

1. 单词词汇的掌握

2.熟练运用“what do you think of…? I love/like/don’t mind/don’t like/can’t stand them/it.”句型结构谈论喜好。

正确使用动词不定式 to do的用法。

教学过程

Step 1 warming up and leading in

T: Hello, everyone, I am happy to have this lesson with you together. Before having it, I will draw a picture, can you guess what it is? (Students give different answers.)

T: yes, it is a TV. So this lesson, we will study unit 5, “do you want to watch a game show?”( Show the PPT)

Then make students read the title together again and again. Make sure they understand the meaning. And the phrase: “game show”(由此引出其他的电视节目)

Step 2 Presentation

1. Words learning

Show the new words, help them read new words again and again. Make the students read correctly and understand their meanings.

T: can you read them? Do you know their meanings? S:…

(After students read the new words, let them write key words on the Xue an. At the same time, the teacher shows the next ppt.)

2. Show the pictures

T: here are some pictures about the TV programs. Do you know them?

S: Yes , we know them.

T: do you know how to say them in English?

(Tell them the answers: CCTV news, Mr. Zhou live show, CBA—KBA, Howe with kids, China’s Got Talent, Hot Mom, Go fighting.)

The teacher shows the notes with the English names. And tell students, give one note to each team, make sure the first student in every team can read the note. Then tell the student behind him how to read one by one.

T: the first picture is CCTV news, read it, what TV show is it?

S: CCTV news.

T: the note is yours, the first team.

T: the second picture is Mr. Zhou live show…

3. match the TV shows and the seven news words.
