1.The students in Grade 8 have basic abilities of listening, reading, speaking and writing.They have learned English for one year, they can use some sentence structures to express themselves briefly but they want to get the way to express themselves more clearly.
2.The students themselves have already had some writing strategies, but they need more chances to get improved.

Teaching importance:
1.The key words, phrases and sentences.
2. Use writing skills to analysis the layout and know how to write a review from “ mind map” to “a passage”
Teaching difficulty:
The students can use proper sentences to express their own opinions correctly and fluently.
To get over the difficulties,we discuss “Mulan”as an example to analysis the structure of a review, then practice writing by audio-visual method, task-based method and communicative method.
