Step1 Leading in
Invite students to enjoy a song. Listen for the jobs and enjoy its lyrics.
Step 2 Presentation
Use a timeline to present “be going to”.
Use PPT to present new words and learn new words.
2. Invite students to speak out their dream jobs using I want to be.......when I grow up.
Step3 Read the new words and the phrases.
Read together,pay attention to the pronunciation of new words:
Computer programmer, engineer,violinist ,pilot,pianist,scientist.
Consolidate the words
Step 4 Listen.
Listen to the dreams from four students. Match what they want to be with how they are going to do that. then, fill in the blanks.
