三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
Play a piece of video for the Ss. Let the Ss remember and review the words about jobs in this unit.
Show some pictures about jobs and Ss guess what they are. Then read the jobs.
Ⅱ. Presentation
Bring out the learning aims of this lesson. Let the main sentence pattern be on the screen. Make the Ss read the sentences together.
Ⅲ. Pair-work
Work on Self check 1:
1. Match the jobs with the school subjects.
2. Check the answers. Then let some Ss make some sentences with them. e.g.
I want to be a computer programmer. I’m going to study computer science.
Ⅳ. Discussion
复习运用句型结构:I want to be…, I’m going to …
My friend wants to be…, he/she is going to…
The Ss make sentences by themselves. Then check their sentences and correct them. After that, some of them go to stand in the front of the classroom and speak out their sentences by using the teacher’s pictures.
Ⅴ. Role-play
Work on Self check 2
1. Tell Ss to read the conversation and fill in the blanks with the right words.
2. Ss work by themselves.
3. Discuss in groups. Check the answers and explain the reasons. e.g.
