Step2: presentation part one (let’s talk about our future life with “will”)

Share teacher’s own imaginations about the future life with will/won’t.

Get students to predict their future lives with will/won’t.

Ask some of the students to share their prediction with the class.

Get students to listen to the tape and number the pictures, then check the answers.

Get students to listen to the tape again and complete the sentences, check the answers, then help students sum up the abbreviated form of will not (will not = won’t).

Step3: presentation part two (let’s predict the earth with “more, less, fewer”)

Show some pictures and share teacher’s own predictions about the future earth with ”more, less, fewer”.

Get students to do circle practice, ask and answer about the future earth with “more, less, fewer”. After they practice for a while, get some pairs to act.

Tell students everyone should play a part in saving the earth.

Show the pictures, get students to talk about what will we do to help our earth. Help them to use “more, less, fewer” correctly. Show the tip of how to use “more, less, fewer”. Sum up the usage of “more, less, fewer” and write it down on the blackboard.

Get students to fill in the blanks with more, less or fewer.

Step4: presentation part three (let’s imagine the future)

Show some pictures about future life. Let students discuss in pairs first.

Show more pictures about what life will be like in 3,000 years, inspire students’ imaginations about future life. Then choose some students to talk about their crazy imaginations.

Ask students to discuss in groups about what life will be like in 3,000 years.

Help students make a summary of the usage of “more, less, fewer” and “will”.

Step5: homework

Draw a picture about the life in 3,000 years and write a short passage about it.
