Teaching procedures(教学步骤):
Step Ⅰ?Revision & Leading in(任务前导入和复习活动)
a.Greet the class
b.Ask student’s “What do you want to be in the future ?” talk about their dream jobs to practice using “will”
eg : What will you be in 10 years? I will be an/a…
Where will you live? I will live in ….
How will you get there? I’ll get there by…
Get students talk about future.
Step ⅡPre –reading
a. Discuss“Will we have robots in the future? Of course we’ll because there’re robots now .”Discuss to find where we can find the robots in our lives .Show them some photos .
b. Give Ss. Some reading strategies and predict the passage.
Step ⅢWhile- reading
a. Read the passage ,underline the new words and guess their meanings. Show pictures and learn the new words and phrases. Then compete to see whether Ss. Remember them.
b. Skim quickly to get the main idea of the passage, find the key sentence in each paragraph .Discuss to match each paragraph with the question it discusses.
c. Scan the passage again, find out the right answers to each paragraph .Check the answers.
d. Let ss. finish a comprehensive exercise about the passage ,it can lead them to summarize the passage.
Step Ⅳ Post - reading
Lead Ss. to retell the passage while filling the blanks .
