?4.教学重点、难点分析 教学重点:Help the Ss to know something about the history and the development of the robots, and Ss can use the target language to talk about their ideas about the robots in the future.

(英语为主+中文)?

步骤1:Before-reading

(1) Lead-in Show the AD Everything is possible/ Nothing is impossible on the screen. Then show some pictures of robots (They don’t look like robots) .

Ss guess what they are by using the sentence: It’s possible/impossible that they are….

T: Do you believe they are robots? Robots have different shapes. Ss learn new words believe and shape.

设计意图:运用李宁广告语一切皆有可能引入,激发学生学习兴趣。学生运用possible/impossible展开猜想,得知机器人有各种形状,从而导入机器人话题。

(2) T: What do you know about robots? What do they like? What are they able to do?

Ss talk about robots’ shapes and functions. First Ss talk freely, then show some pictures to help them. New words and phrases: human ,servants, factory, dangerous, inside, over and over again, fall down, look for and so on.

设计意图:通过问题激活学生的背景知识,同时学生学习一些新词汇为阅读文章扫清障碍。

步骤2:While-reading

T: Do you think robots are interesting? Do you think you will have your own robot in the future? Show the title and the picture from the article on the screen.

Ss predict what they will read in the passage.

Reading strategy: Prediction(预测)Tip1 阅读的时候,先通过看标题和图片,预计一下你要读到的内容。这能帮助你准备获得更多的信息.

设计意图:利用标题和课中图片预测,培养学生预测的习惯和阅读策略。

(2) Fast reading: Ss read the article and match each paragraph with the question it discusses. Before their reading, show the Reading strategy: learn to skim(略读).Tip2 Skim即快速阅读以找到文章的中心思想/主要意思。往往可以通过寻找Topic sentences(主题句)或 key words来快速达到目的。 Topic sentences往往在段落开始或末尾。Lead Ss to use the strategy to find out the question each paragraph discusses. Paragraph1 and paragraph2: Ss can only read the first sentence of the paragraph (topic sentence) . Paragraph3 and paragraph4: Ss can find out the questions by the key words.

设计意图:这一步骤旨在让学生略读判断各段段落大意,以获得对文章的整体理解。而通过寻找Topic sentence和 key words是非常重要的略读策略。所以这里需要重点指导。为了不破坏文章的整体阅读,应该在读前指导策略,读后再让学生验证这一策略。

(3) T: Now we the question each paragraph discusses. Can you answer the questions? Read the article again quickly and complete the table below.

Ss read carefully and finish the table.
