阅读教学——采取预测和细读的方式引导学生理解文章。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and lead-in
1. Watch the video, and then do the following two things :
(1) What does the robot look like?
(2) What things can the robot do? Say as many as you can.
(Write down the key words )
2. What other things can the robot do?
Show some pictures about the things robots can do , ask them to say .
Step 2. Pre-reading
Read the title of the passage, and predict what the passage will tell us.
Step 3. While--.Reading
Read the passage and complete the mind-map.
Notice:
First, read the passage for yourself and complete the mind-map. Then, discuss with your partners and check your answers. After that, you will report to the class.
(The group who has reported will get a happy card.)
Step 4. Post-reading
Imagine you have a robot, draw a robot, what will it be like, and what will it do for you? Make a mind-map and describe it to your partners.
Step 5 Comment
Choose the group who got the most cards ,and say the reasons.
Step 6 Homework
Write a short article -----My dream robot.
