Tell students the aim of this class:Learning how to make a banana milk shake.

Step2.Presentation

I. Word Study

Teacher (show the pictures on multimedia about the words of this period such as blender、 turn on 、cut up、peel 、pour…into…、)At the same time, teacher let students read and remember the words and phrases such as turn on/turn off the blender、peel the bananas、 cut up the bananas、pour the milk into the blender and so on.

II. Language study

1.Teacher show the process of making a banana milk shake(Peel three bananas→Cut up them. →Put the bananas and ice cream into the blender. →Pour the milk into the blender

→Turn on the blender. →Drink the milk shake.

III. 1a :Let students fill in the blanks in 1a on the book

IV.1b:Let students listen to the tape and put the instructions in the correct order.

Step3 Consolidation and extension

1. Students use the real things(three bananas、a blender、a bag of milk to practice how to make a banana milk shake.(group in six)

2. Ask one student show the process in front of others.

3. Small competition: group in four, choose

one who do it quickly show the process,
