Let the students read the passage and give them a task to fill in the blanks with the words in the box. And the teacher teaches some key expressions in the passage. For example, the adverbial clause of purpose, cut it up, one by one, it’s time to, put sth into,etc.

Yunnan Rice Noodles

In Yunnan, many people eat rice noodles for breakfast, and even for lunch and dinner. To make this special food, you need to _________ rice noodles, chicken soup, chicken, lettuce and eggs. 5.Consolidation: let students write an article about how to make tomato and egg noodles after group discussion. Then let some of the students read their articles in front of the students and the other students modify their articles with the guidance of teacher. ( using Mr Walter assistant to project the article on the screen)

6.Summary :let students to summarize what they have learned today, and ask one students to write on the blackboard.

2.Make some food for their family. Take some photos while cooking. Then share the photos with your classmates

五、Reflextion

This topic can arouse the students’ interest easily and it is quite good for them to try to cook and help their parents with the housework. However, it is a little bit difficult for them to write a whole and neat article in certain time.
