(1)Play a game.(Word magic.)
T:Before the new class,let’s play a game.
(词语接龙:幻灯片上单词或短语出现时,同学应迅速读出并说出中文意思,每人一词,按行/列依次接龙,3秒内说不出,此行/列同学即失去此答题机会,下一行/列同学接续。)
(设计意图:用游戏的方式回顾上节课学过的重点单词,学生乐于也易于接受。)
(2)Happy Time.(开心乐一乐)
T:What are they talking about?If we want to put an elephant into a fridge,how many steps do we need?
S:We need three steps.
T:Clever!What are they?
S:First,…Next,…Finally,…
(设计意图:用一个简单的小笑话活跃气氛,意在告知同学做任何事都要有条理性。)
(3)Revision.(Review how to make a turkey dish.)
T:Last class,we learned how to make a turkey dinner.Do you still remember the making process?
(先让同学小组讨论两分钟,然后再来复述就容易得多了。)
(4)Self Check.
T:Have you finished it yet?Now check your answers with your parter.
(自我检测题在上一节课时已经布置,所以叫同学以小组为单位核对答案,再统一给出正确答案。)
