2. Teaching aims(教学目标)

Knowledge aims(知识目标):

Words and expressions

掌握重点句型 First,…Next,…Then,…Finally,…

Ability aims(能力目标):

能在阅读中迅速提取关键词、整理文章的脉络结构,把阅读文转变为mind-map, 并借助mind-map记忆文章,复述文章,仿写文章,达到“以读促说、以读促写”的目标。

Emotion aims(情感目标):

在活动中渗透中西方餐饮文化,了解云南过桥米线的制作方法,感受各地饮食文化的不同,增强学生对美好事物的追求和向往。

通过食物制作过程的介绍, 让学生认识到劳动成果的来之不易, 使之懂得不能浪费食物, 珍惜他人的劳动成果。

让学生体验主动探究的成功与快乐、培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣和乐于参加各种活动的积极情感。

3. Teaching important points(教学重点):

(1)通过文章段落的关键词,迅速获取文章各段落的大意,把握文章脉络。

(2)运用mind-map,更有效理解文章。

Teaching difficult points(教学难点):

以阅读的文章为范文,根据mind-map,运用First,…Next,…Then,…Finally,…来帮助学生表达事情发生的顺序及模仿文章结构设计一篇介绍家乡美食的文章。

二、The Students (学情)

这节课的教学对象是八年级的学生,通过本单元前部分的学习,学生已经掌握First,…Next,…Then,…Finally,…等句型。但是,学生在阅读中,对文章主旨的提炼和脉络的把握方面相对薄弱。因此,我根据学生实际情况设计了形式多样的教学活动,引导学生在阅读中构建图式,培养学生将文章的整体结构和相关细节信息有机结合在一起的能力。

三、Teaching and Learning (教法、学法)

教法:1、采取任务型教学法,体现“学中用,用中学”的教学原则。

2、利用阅读策略mind-map帮助学生迅速获取文章主要信息,把握文章的主要结构。

3、采用竞赛法,激发学生参与学习的热情。

学法:自主探究法、合作学习法

四、Teaching Process (教学过程)

Step 1 Leading in

Greetings and everyday English. Say, “Who’s on duty today? Is everyone here? (Yes.) What is the date today? (It is April 24th.) What day is it today? (The whole class)(It is Tuesday.) What’s the weather like today? (It is sunny.) ”

Ask students, “Do you know the traditional food? Can you list some of them? ”

Step 2 Before you write

1 Let the students look at the pictures of food together and say, “Dumplings, Mapo tofu, Yunnan rice noodles and Beijing duck.” Show another picture and say, “How about this one, so many dishes. Do you want to eat them? Can you cook them?( No. ) It’s difficult to cook them, but we can make some easy food. What easy food did we learn to make?”The whole class say, “Banana milk shake, fruit salad, popcorn, sandwich, Russian soup, turkey.”

2 The teacher says, “I think of another easy dish, I think everyone can make it .”Show the picture and ask, “Do you know it? Number these instructions for making tomato and egg soup in the correct order. Then complete the instructions with the words in the box.” ( P64 Self check 1. )

3 The teacher shows another picture and says, “Let’s look at another kind of food. Do you know it? (Yes. Cake.) How do you know the ingredients? How to ask and answer them? Write questions and answers using the words in brackets. ”The whole class say together. (P64 Self check 2. )
