Step1. Revision and Warming up

T：Let’s look at the screen. Show a calendar to the Ss, then let them answer some questions.

Teacher can guide the students to say ：What day is it today? Then asks ：What date is it today? What is today? Let Ss to answer the dates and write them down。Pay attention to the tense.

Step 2 Presentation.

1. Show the chart of the dates. Teach the words-Monday…

2.Ss learn some new words about the day before yesterday, the day after tomorrow, weekend, weekday…

Write down the dates for this week.

Write these words below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a.

Step 4 Pair work

Ask Ss to practice about how to ask the date
