Step 1 New words and expressions
Show the new words and expressions on P69, 70, and let Ss read after the teacher.

Step 2 Leading in
1. Ask students “Do you like parties? When people say “party”, what do you think of? ” students answer the questions. ( e.g. friends, games, music, dance, food…)
2. Show some pictures to Ss and ask them to guess what kind of parties they are?
3. Make a list of the kinds of parties people have,students discuss the parties they know. And write them down on their books in 2a.then ask some of them to share their answers and check their answers. e.g. Birthday Party, Dancing Party , New Year’s Party ,
Surprise Party , Housewarming Party, English Party …
Step 3 Reading
Pre-reading
1. Let them look at the picture in 2b, the messages are from the internet. And ask them “What kind of article is it?”( an e-mail)
2. Let them match the words with the phrases.
A. get a message and send it to another person forward
B. make words on paper print
C. take out something you don’t want or need delete
D. give an answer to someone reply
3. Let Ss read the messages quickly. Why did the people write them? Match the reason with each message in 2b. And underline the key sentences at the same time. Then ask three students to share their answers and sentences, and check the answers with the Ss.(1, 3, 2)
