1. Learn some new words and phrases.
2. Show a picture of the teacher’s son to lead the students to talk about different kinds of parties.
T: Do you know the little boy? He is my son. And I love him very much.Next week,it is his 2nd birthday. I will have a birthday party for him. Can you come to my party,boys and girls?In our lives, there are many other parties. Can you say some other parties?
Ss discuss the parties they know. And write them down on their books.
Ⅱ. Lead-in
T: Usually before my birthday, I will make an invitation to invite my friends . Some of them accept my invitation, they can come to my party. But some turn down my invitation because they are not available. I’m looking forward to hearing from you if you have parties. Then I will be very happy.
