学情分析
学生已学过一般现在时和一般将来时，但首次接触if引导的条件状语从句，在接受上会有一定的难度。我校属于农村学校，学生的整体英语水平较差，英语交际能力也较弱。但是，学生的参与意识强，部分基础好的学生能主动配合老师，基础较弱的学生需要老师的鼓励和引导。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点、难点：
（1）重点句型：—I think I’m going to go to the party with Karen and Ann.
—If you do, you’ll have a great time.
（2）运用if 引导的条件状语从句对可能发生的情况进行预测。
三、教学过程
Step1. Preparation
Play a Disney song --- It’s Party Time
Step2. Presentation
Introduce “if” structure with four questions :
If you go to the party, what will you wear ?
If you go to the party, who will you go with?
If you go to the party, how will you go there?
If you go to the party, where will you do?
Step3.Practice
1. Show some pictures and have a discussion
What will happen if you wear a ballet skirt to the party?
What will happen if you take a dog to the party?
What will happen if you go to the party on foot?
2. Work on 1a, match the statements with the pictures [a-d].
3. Listening Work on 1b
1). Point out the statements and the responses in activity 1a. Tell Ss to listen to the recordings and complete the responses.
2). Play the recording for the first time, Ss try to complete the responses.
3). Play the recording again , Ss try to complete the sentences.
4). Check the answers.
