Ⅱ.Ability goals:

Help the students to learn to give advice to each other.

Improve the students’ grammar skill.

Train the students’ ability to use the grammar to help them with their writing.

Ⅲ. Moral goal:

1. Students are able to know about how to talk about good and bad habits in English after learning.

2. Make the students know that keeping good habits, changing bad habits can make the class better.

3. Show students how to give good advice sincerely and show love for each other bravely.

Ⅳ.Teaching Difficulty:

Use some important phrases into the topic and put them into practice.

Make students understand the importance of if real clause.

3. Help the students to write about their team rules with different usages of if real clause.

Ⅴ.Teaching Procedures:

Step 1. Lead-in

Play a video with a song “My love will take you home”.

设计意图:播放含有if歌词的歌曲,同时呈现本班学生参加社会实践活动,为我们的家园--汕头创文、学校创文的视频,吸引学生眼球,将话题引入创建文明班级。

Lead in the topic “How to make our class better.”

设计意图:由视频话题引入如何创建文明班级,通过学校校训“端·毅·诚·爱”贯穿整节课,分别进行语法知识点的呈现。

Step2. Phrases and sentences

Mind-map: What are our good habits?

Show some pictures and ask the students to think of the phrases about good habits .

设计意图:呈现创建文明班级第一步:“拥有良好的习惯(端正的态度)”,由话题引入,复现本册与话题相关的重要短语。

Lead in “If we do, what will happen?”

Create some good situations that happened around us.

设计意图:通过场景设置,以设问的形式,引出if“主将从现”结构,同时给学生框架,让学生在语境中感知if的用法。

Sum up grammar focus “if……, …..will/won’t…….”

Show some sentences and ask students to sum up the language point.(If clause: Present tense& Main clause: Future tense)

设计意图:让学生在语境中自己总结if“主将从现”用法,并进行简单操练。
