Difficulties:
Each learner needs 3 steps to grasp a phrase: 1. Memorize 2. Find the exact meanings in different situations. 3. Use them in right situations to express their ideas or feelings.
The final purpose of learning is to use them, especially in right situations, so it’ll be difficult for students to make right and beautiful sentences.

Step 1: Warm-up
T: This is the first time for me to teach here. How about you?
S: I have had lessons 3 times here.
T: You are more experienced than me.
I know everybody wants to learn English well. Which is the better way to learn English well,memorizing words or phrases?
So let’s learn phrases instead of learning words.
Step 2: Lead-in
Some language experts think emorizing the vocabulary lists is a waste of time. Phrases give you a lot more information. When you learn phrases, you are not just learning the individual word,you're learning grammar,too, even though you don't realize that.Learn phrases will also help your pronunciation. Native speakers naturally pause between phrases. They speak the language in phrases, because they learned English mostly from phrases, their pronunciation is clear and easy to understand.
Step 3:Learning Goals
In this lessons, we are going to finish 3 tasks. I believe you will do great work.
Task 1: Remember the 40 important phrases chosen from 2b of Grade 8A.
Task 2: Make right and beautiful sentences with 3 phrases in right situations.
Task 3: Choose at least 5 phrases to write a passage based on a topic.
Step 4. Check students’ reciting results by 40 important pharases.
10 phrases are given for 4 times, here are 3 ways to check:
Write on the blackboard. 2. help each other 3. Ask the teacher for help
Please speak them out loudly and wtire down what you can't remember clearly or read well!
Step 5. Make right and beautiful sentences with 3 phrases in right situations.
Set 3 situations to students.
Scene 1: If you have any trouble, please come to me.I’m always there to hear.(to a hard-working girl whose English is not so good)
Scene 2: Don’t spend too much time going online during your summer vacation, will you promise?(to a clver boy who likes playing computer games)
Scene 3: Maybe in the future I’ll lose my job. Guess why? Because all the students will study at home on computers.(to all the students and make relaxing class environment)
Step 6.Group work: choose at least 5 phrases to write a passage based on a topic.
